VOLUNTEER TITLE: Child Watch Associate POSITION SUMMARY: Work in our busy Child Watch Room providing a fun and safe environment for Y children and their families. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises while leading and participating in various activities that are developmentally appropriate. Dependable and caring individual who possess initiative and strong communication. Ensures safety and cleanliness of program environment. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to provide care and interact with children and youth in a positive manner. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum age of 13 Volunteer Application CORI/SORI, Criminal Background Check and Sex Offender Registry Check ***ID must be verified in person References (online) Child Abuse Prevention Training Interview with Child Watch supervisor after submitting the above documents and training. Start Date: Ongoing Days available are any time during Child Watch operating hours which are: All days from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM or weeknights 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Volunteers do not need to volunteer for the full 4 hours and can volunteer for shorter time spans. Ideally, volunteers will commit to a regular schedule (ex. weekly, bi-weekly, monthly). Shift will be based on volunteer's ability.

POSITION SUMMARY: Provides excellent customer service to members walking into the YMCA. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include scanning membership cards and greeting members as they enter/leave the building. Assist staff promote membership benefits though events, social media and outreach. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to demonstrate strong effective communication skills. Creative, tech-savviness (social media) and teamwork. POSITION SUMMARY: Junior Counselor Volunteer ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Mentoring with our Camp Counselors in a Camp Group QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to provide care and interact with children and youth in a positive manner. REQUIREMENTS: 15 Years of Age ONLY Complete Volunteer Application. Complete CORI/SORI (paper) and Checkster References (online). Complete required online training. Commitment of at least Minimum of One Full Week of Summer Camp Days available are: Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Serve as a welcoming first point of contact by creating a friendly, positive, and helpful environment for all members, guests, and staff.
