VOLUNTEER POSITION: Welcome Center Associate POSITION SUMMARY: Provide excellent customer service to members entering and exiting the YMCA. Serve as a welcoming first point of contact by creating a friendly, positive, and helpful environment for all members, guests, and staff. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet members with a smile as they enter and leave the building Scan membership cards and help with check-ins Answer simple questions or direct members to the right place or staff person Help promote YMCA programs, events, and benefits to members Support outreach efforts through events and social media when needed Help keep the front desk area clean, organized, and welcoming Work as part of a team to make sure members have a great experience QUALIFICATIONS: Friendly, positive attitude and good communication skills Comfortable talking to people of all ages Basic knowledge of technology and social media Creative and willing to help promote events or programs Team player who is responsible and willing to learn REQUIREMENTS: Minimum age of 15 Volunteer Application CORI/SORI, Criminal Background Check and Sex Offender Registry Check ***ID must be verified in person References (online) Child Abuse Prevention Training Interview with Membership Department Start Date: Ongoing Days available: Schedule-
