POSITION SUMMARY: The Pickleball Beginner Instructor is responsible for introducing new players—particularly adults and seniors—to the fundamentals of pickleball in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. This position focuses on teaching basic rules, scoring, court positioning, and stroke techniques while promoting sportsmanship, fitness, and enjoyment of the game. The instructor will design and lead engaging, progressive lessons that build player confidence and skill over time. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan and conduct beginner-level pickleball lessons, clinics, or open play sessions. Demonstrate and explain proper techniques, including serving, volleying, dinking, and basic game strategy. Create a positive, encouraging atmosphere that supports all skill levels and learning styles. Ensure player safety by monitoring courts and reinforcing safe play habits. Organize equipment and assist with setup and cleanup as needed. Foster a sense of community and teamwork among participants. QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of pickleball rules, techniques, and teaching methods. Strong communication, patience, and leadership skills. Ability to adapt instruction to a range of ages and physical abilities.
