VOLUNTEER POSITION: Wall Handball Coach POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for teaching participants the fundamental skills, rules, and techniques of handball in a safe, supportive, and positive environment. Plans and leads practices, drills, and skill-building activities that promote player development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach fundamental handball skills, rules, and techniques Organize and lead practices and drills Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior Provide guidance and feedback to players QUALIFICATIONS: Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic working with players Comfortable talking to people of all ages Fundamental knowledge of wall handball Creative and willing to help promote events or programs Team player who is responsible and willing to learn REQUIREMENTS: Minimum age of 18 Volunteer Application CORI/SORI, Criminal Background Check and Sex Offender Registry Check ***ID must be verified in person References (online) Child Abuse Prevention Training Interview with Program Department Start Date: 11/14 Days available: Saturdays Starting 11/14-12/19 Schedule- 1:00-2:30
