POSITION SUMMARY: Support adults participating in the LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA program by helping create a welcoming and encouraging environment. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Welcome and assist participants. Help with program setup and cleanup. Provide encouragement and support. Assist YMCA staff with basic program needs. QUALIFICATIONS: Friendly, dependable, and compassionate. Good communication skills. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Must complete YMCA volunteer requirements and training. REQUIREMENTS: Volunteer Application CORI/SORI, Criminal Background Check and Sex Offender Registry Check ***ID must be verified in person References (online) Child Abuse Prevention Training Interview Start Date: Varies from month to month Schedule will vary.
