POSITION SUMMARY: Work in our busy Child Watch Room providing a fun and safe environment for Y children and their families. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises while leading and participating in various activities that are developmentally appropriate. Dependable and caring individual who possess initiative and strong communication. Ensures safety and cleanliness of program environment. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to provide care and interact with children and youth in a positive manner. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum age of 13 Complete Volunteer Application. Complete CORI/SORI (paper) and Checkster References (online). Complete required online training Interview with Child Watch supervisor after submitting the above documents and training Start Date: Ongoing Days available are any time during Child Watch operating hours which are: All days from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM or weeknights 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Volunteers do not need to volunteer for the full 4 hours and can volunteer for shorter time spans. Ideally, volunteers will commit to a regular schedule (ex. weekly, bi-weekly, monthly). Shift will be based on volunteer's ability.
