VOLUNTEER TITLE: Volunteer Swim Instructor POSITION SUMMARY: Support YMCA swim instructors in providing a safe, engaging, and positive swim lessons. For children and teens aged 6 months - 17 years old. Assist with skill development and create a welcoming environment while promoting water safety. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist instructor with group swim lessons. Demonstrate basic swim skills. Help monitor engagement and attention during lessons. Promote a safe inclusive learning environment. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be able to swim independently. Enjoy working with children and teens of various abilities. Friendly, patient, and kind.
